The art of the Italian painter Rodolfo Marmaioli (1923-1998) is deeply linked to the city of Florence, of which he evoked the gentle beauty and the mysterious charm of streets, squares and monuments. This biography, written by his daughter Marisa, starts from Marma’s youth in the war and post-war years, and after that tells us about his first exhibitions and about the eighteen months spent in New York, the hometown of his wife Geraldine, where he moved in the Sixties with the whole family.
